A weekend of learning and celebrating the craft of writing.

The 2008 National Writers' Workshop makes a stop in Fort Lauderdale at the end of September bringing writing experts from around the country together for a two-day seminar.

It's a low-cost weekend with top writers, editors and coaches who donate their time and energy to help you improve your reporting, writing and editing skills.

The program begins Saturday, September 20 at the Hyatt Regency Pier Sixty-Six hotel in Fort Lauderdale.

National Writers' Workshop features an Internship Fair for college students and recent graduates

College students and recent graduates who register for NWW also are eligible to take part in an internship fair. It will take place on Sunday, Sept. 21. Students who register for NWW can sign up for the internship fair by contacting Kathy Pellegrino at kpellegrino@sun-sentinel.com. Sign-up sheets also will be available during NWW at the registration desk. College students attending NWW should come prepared with a resume and 8-10 work samples.
